Volunteer with us

As a community organisation we rely on the goodwill and generosity of the public to continue to provide our vital services. Volunteering is a great way to help us and give back to the community. Listed below are some of the ways you can volunteer your help at LLSE.

Answer the phone calls that come through Lifeline Crisis Support Hotline.

Lifeline is looking for people from all walks of life who would like to make a commitment to regular volunteer work and who are willing to learn new skills, support others and work within the vision and values of Lifeline. Volunteer in one of our Lifeline SE shops or Warehouse

Lifeline SE needs Retail Volunteers for our shops located in Mount Gambier, Millicent, Naracoorte, Tailem Bend and Victor Harbour. Our Warehouse in Mount Gambier needs volunteers for sorting, pricing donated goods, stock control, drivers and rag cutters.

Care Ring is a free service providing personal phone calls to people living alone, elderly or those who may have restricted contact with the community.

Care Ring calls are made 5 days a week between 9.00am – 10.00am and is supported by Mount Gambier City Council and Grant District Council. If the phone is not answered within a reasonable period, the emergency contact person will be phoned to check on the wellbeing of the client.

Assist in Fundraising activities and donation collection.

Provide your expertise or unique skills in a pro-bono capacity to Lifeline.

LLSE aims to actively promote a corporate culture that supports diversity in the composition of its Board of Governance; our Board brings a range of skills and expertise in the areas of finance, leadership, education, community and legal. LLSE has six active Board Members currently.

Provide assistance with office activities at your local Lifeline Centre.
