Volunteer with us

As a community organisation we rely on the goodwill and generosity of the public to continue to provide our vital services. Volunteering is a great way to help us and give back to the community. Listed below are some of the ways you can volunteer your help at LLSE.

Be the Voice That Makes a Difference

Life can be tough and sometimes all someone needs is a listening ear.  At Lifeline, we're here for every crisis.  Our trained crisis supporters provide 24/7 support, answering over a million calls from all across Australia each year.  We offer connection, support and a safe space to talk.

Lifeline South East is looking for volunteers to help Australians doing it tough.  With nationally recognised training, you'll gain valuable skills while making a real impact.

Volunteer in one of our Lifeline SE shops or Warehouse

Lifeline SE needs Retail Volunteers for our shops located in Mount Gambier, Millicent, Naracoorte, Tailem Bend and Victor Harbour. Our Warehouse in Mount Gambier needs volunteers for sorting, pricing donated goods, stock control, drivers and rag cutters.

Care Ring is a free service providing personal phone calls to people living alone, elderly or those who may have restricted contact with the community.

Care Ring calls are made 5 days a week between 9.00am – 10.00am and is supported by Mount Gambier City Council and Grant District Council. If the phone is not answered within a reasonable period, the emergency contact person will be phoned to check on the wellbeing of the client.
